Our Aqua Baby Classes are a lot of fun and a special time to cherish with your baby. We use toys, songs, games and many other fun activities so that your baby enjoys being in the water.
With an emphasis on water awareness such as water over the face, holding their breath under water and and holding on to the parent. Your baby will learn basic skills as well skills in a fun, relaxed and warm environment.
Class numbers are capped at 6 babies and lessons can commence as early as 3 months of age with the oldest being 2 years of age.

Transition One Class
Our Transition One classes are designed for parents and babies who have grown in confidence and ability in the water and ready to progress to learning vital water safety skills.
This class is more advanced and we focus on things like breathing, swimming unaided, turning underwater and swimming to the surface.
Our Transition classes start at 9 months of age and are ability and confidence based.

Our transition two classes are for children 18 months of age and aims to have the parent out of the water and learning on their own with the instructor.
The skills taught in the class are more advanced and focus on the child being able to swim unaided as well as practicing vital water safety skill so that your child can get to the edge and climb out of the pool unassisted.
Parents are initially in the water with their child, then progress to sitting on the edge and finally to no longer being with them in the water.

We ask parents to bring a rashshirt or old shirt to wear in the water as we teach babies to always "HOLD ON".
While its only one parent and baby allowed in the class, we also love seeing dad's as well as other caregivers such as grandparents get in sometimes too!

It's important your babies first experience in the water is positive.
While its often hard to coordinate the lesson around feeding and sleeping, we highly recommend that you pick a time that best fits your babies schedule and arrive ahead of time.
Aqua Nappy or Little swimmer

Aqua Nappy or Little swimmer
All babies must wear an aqua nappy or little swimmer disposable nappy whilst in the water. Normal nappies expand and cannot be worn the water.
Our centres have a baby change area as well as warm showers to utilise after lessons finish.
